How VitaVerse AI Reads Your Health Data

VitaVerse AI connects to Google Health Connect to access your health and fitness data from various devices. Here's how we read data from different wearable devices.

VitaVerse AI uses Google Health Connect as the primary method to access your health data from various devices. Google Health Connect is Google's new platform for health and fitness data, replacing Google Fit.

Important Notice

Google Fit will no longer sync with third-party apps after May 2026. Make sure your device data is connected to Google Health Connect to continue receiving personalized tasks in VitaVerse AI.

Devices That Export Directly to Google Health Connect

Many modern devices automatically export data to Google Health Connect. If you use one of these devices, VitaVerse AI can access your data directly:

  • Fitbit devices (Versa 3, Sense, etc.)
  • Pixel watches (Pixel Watch, Pixel Watch 2)
  • Samsung watches (Galaxy Watch 4 and newer)
  • Zepp watches
  • And many other devices that support Google Health Connect

Devices That Export to Google Fit Only

Some devices still only export data to Google Fit. To use this data with VitaVerse AI, you need to connect Google Fit to Google Health Connect:

How to Connect Google Fit to Health Connect

    Open Google Fit

    Launch the Google Fit app on your Android device.

    Go to Settings

    Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner, then select "Settings".

    Select Google Health Connect

    Scroll down and tap on "Google Health Connect".

    Connect Google Fit Data

    Tap "Continue" and then "I agree" to allow Google Fit to share data with Health Connect.

    Verify Connection

    You'll see a confirmation message with a icon when the connection is successful.

Unsupported Devices

If your device doesn't export data to either Google Fit or Google Health Connect, we currently don't support it. We're continuously working to expand our device compatibility.

Device Not Supported?

If your wearable device isn't working with VitaVerse AI, please contact our support team with information about your device:

  • Device make and model
  • How the device syncs data (official app name)
  • Any error messages you've encountered

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

Update your apps: Check that both Google Fit and VitaVerse AI are updated to the latest versions in the Google Play Store.

Restart the apps: Close Google Fit, VitaVerse AI, and Health Connect completely, then reopen them.

Check permissions: Open your phone's Settings > Apps > Health Connect > Permissions and ensure Google Fit has permission to share data.
